“Specializes in Children and Adolescents”
I bring a diversity of life experiences to my practice in working with adults and
children. My passion is to help and support you along your journey. Life brings changes and challenges, some expected, some unexpected, any of which can cause
stress, discomfort, or pain. Often these issues leave you feeling isolated and alone.
As a therapist, it is my most sincere desire to develop a supportive, trusting and caring
relationship with my clients and to instill hope. The process of therapy involves a
commitment and hard work from both of us.
I will be committed to you and will work with compassion and creativity as we
progress through your issues. Through this integral approach, I will assist you to
draw on your own strengths and resources. You have the ability to make deep and lasting changes in your life. You will find it is eminently possible to overcome the issues you face as you move along your life’s journey toward a greater sense of self, integrity, resiliency, and resourcefulness.
Do you find yourself struggling with issues in your life? Are you facing changes and challenges? Are you experiencing stresses? You can expect to come into a safe, warm and nurturing environment in which to deal with what is happening in your life. I will work to help you to reinvest in life and to increase your ability to respond, cope, and adapt. I believe that each individual is unique and will walk beside you to create an individualized approach to addressing your issues and meeting your needs. I listen and adjust methods to meet your needs. I utilize a variety of techniques, including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, existential, and homework assignments as agreed upon. I apply meditative/ mindfulness approaches for awareness and relaxation.
